As seen above, our apprenticeships grant options are offered at three different levels of education.
As an L2/3 apprentice at an Automate UK member company you can apply for a one-off apprenticeship incentive grant of £1000 to help pay for tools, equipment, transport, or any other assistance needed as part of your apprenticeship.
Once accepted for an apprenticeships grant you will become a member of the Automate BEST Club, with access to industry-led opportunities and experiences.

In addition, Automate BEST offers the BEST HNC / HND Bursary Grant. This has been designed to support levels 4 and 5 students in England and Wales, or SCQF Levels 7 and 8 in Scotland, through part-time, or full-time holiday (non-study term) placements with a non-levy paying company (sponsor).
To qualify for the apprenticeship bursary, the student must be paid the national minimum wage by an employer who is an Automate UK member.
The student will also receive a £1,000 grant from the employer for each year (up to a maximum of three years) they’re studying towards a Higher National Certificate (HNC) or Higher National Diploma (HND) via a recognised higher education provider.
Furthermore, a match-funded bursary of £1,000 per year (up to a maximum of three years) is awarded by Automate BEST to help students through their HNC / HND course. Once accepted they, and the employer will be a member of the BEST Club, with access to industry-led opportunities and experiences.

Our Automate BEST Undergraduate Bursary has been designed to support degree-level students through part- or full-time holiday (non-study term) placements with a non-levy paying company (sponsor).
The applicant must be paid the national minimum wage by their employer (an Automate UK member) to qualify. The employer will also be expected to provide a £1,000 grant for each year (up to a maximum of three years) that the applicant is studying for a Level 6 qualification in England and Wales or SCQF Level 9 in Scotland through a recognised higher education provider.
What’s more, a match-funded apprenticeship bursary of £1,000 per year (up to a maximum of three years) will be awarded by Automate BEST to help each student through their course. Once accepted you will be a member of the BEST Club and have access to industry-led opportunities and experiences.
