Automate BEST makes impression at MACH

We have recently changed our name to Automate BEST from the previous PPMA BEST. This is the next part of our journey as we move into a more supportive, and high engagement role with current BEST apprentices, Automate UK members and prospective new members and apprentices. We hope to bridge the gap and be the point of contact for all things apprenticeships for our members, and to introduce our industry to as many young people as possible.

As part of this, some of our trustees were able to come and work on the stand at MACH with our apprentice volunteers (Trustee John Clayton pictured in the centre). Not only are we participating in exhibition shows where possible, but we are also attending career fairs at universities and schools, attending networking events and visiting our BEST apprentices at their place of work.

As an Automate UK member you have access to our apprenticeship assistance services so please do not hesitate to contact if you need help with navigating the apprenticeship journey.

Alternatively, if you are able to support our charity in anyway, please do not hesitate to contact- whether that is through donations, sponsorships, loaning of equipment at shows, or offering your time to talk to curious young people wanting to know more about our industry. Your assistance however small, will make such a difference to the young engineers of tomorrow.
