CNC Robotics sets a date for 2022 Open House

On Wednesday 15th June 2022, CNC Robotics, a leading SME business specialising in advanced machining applications founded by Jason Barker in 2010, is inviting guests to visit its new premises based in Mersey Reach, Liverpool. The business moved into a new award-winning industrial development during the Summer of 2021 and is also home to Skinny Tonics and Hanson Springs. The open house hopes to inspire, educate, and connect the Manufacturing and Engineering community.

The Open House will include a robotic machining demonstration from the company's Artist in Residence, Liz Wilson. Liz will be working with the companies Automation Engineers on the day machining a sculpture which formed part of her installation for Art in Manufacturing; the headline commissioning programme for the National Festival of Making takes place on 11th – 13th June.

The event will include CNC Robotics partners, Finance for Industry, who provide a range of innovative finance options and provide SME clinics on the day. Backed by Close Brothers, Finance for Industry is a leading specialist in finance for engineering, plastics, and machinery. It will also feature a range of guest exhibitors and demonstrations from companies within CNC Robotics community, including Blowfish IT, CADLINE, HITECO, KUKA, Make UK, Schunk, and Royal Academy of Engineering, University of Liverpool Business School, 3DGBRIE and more.

Philippa Glover, Managing Director of CNC Robotics, said: "We are thrilled to be hosting our first open house in over three years, giving the manufacturing and engineering community the chance to see what we do and meet like-minded people. Open houses offer a brilliant platform for SMEs like CNC Robotics to break down the barriers and make new technology more accessible by enabling manufacturers to speak first-hand to the people who design and build the systems."

The themes throughout the day will include Robotics and Automation, Additive Manufacturing, Cyber Resilience, Skills and Talent Development, UK manufacturing outlook, support available and more.

Registration is now open, and we encourage people to stay for as long or as little as they like. If you would like to pre-book an appointment, please contact info@cncrobotics.co.uk.
