I am thrilled to be joining the PPMA board. As part of member company RMGroup, our business has grown with the show. The PPMA association has provided a platform on which we have built a great network of suppliers and partners. It will be an honour to support the promotion of PPMA and its plans to enhance member benefits furthermore.

Rosie Davies, Group Director at RMGroup

During my 6 years as a Director for PPMA I have already had the opportunity to see the amazing work that they do. To be able to expand upon my role and become a conduit between the board and PPMA team is an exciting opportunity and one that I very much look forward to. I am grateful to RARUK Automation for making this possible by providing flexibility in my role to continue driving the business forward whilst taking on additional responsibility at the PPMA. I look forward to helping the PPMA and its members successfully meet their goals in the new year and beyond.

Peter Williamson, Managing Director at RARUK Automation Limited

The addition of Rosie to the board and Peter as CEO means the PPMA is in an incredibly fortunate situation to best drive strategic events and services at the same time. We wish them all the best in 2023.

Notes to editor

Incorporated in 1987, the Processing & Packaging Machinery Association (PPMA) was born out of eight founder member companies.

In the two years that followed, the Association experienced a substantial period of growth, which culminated in the launch of first PPMA Show (1988) and the merger with the UK Manufacturers’ Association, PEMA (Packaging Equipment Manufacturers’ Association) in 1989. In 2009, BARA and UKIVA joined forces with the PPMA.

PPMA now represents over 550 member companies and has become the voice of the processing and packaging machinery industry in the UK. As well as publishing Machinery Update (MU) and providing training we also support member companies at overseas trade exhibitions.

Our principle objective is to help members to sell more products and services across a multitude of industry sectors.
