UKIVA members can expect to see their new Chairman lead the way for members new and old as the industrial machine vision sector adopts new trends in the light of AI, 3D imaging, and enhanced connectivity. UKIVA will also play a key part in the third year of Automation UK as it hosts Vision UK at the CBS Arena in Coventry, 7 – 8 May 2025. This event takes full advantage of the crossover between machine vision and automation, featuring the latest innovative technology from both sectors.

Simon Said, “The UKIVA Committee represents the vision members of Automate UK and is a representative voice for what is important to the machine vision industry. Becoming Chair will be an opportunity for me to help steer where UKIVA is heading, trying to grow the membership and add benefits to the members.  Adding as much as possible for those that are new to the machine vison community as well as maintaining the close relationships that we already have with our current UKIVA members.  Striving to elevate the presence of our industry for the benefit of everyone.”
