YPS crowned ‘Best in Commercial Packaging Solutions’

Leading shrink and stretch wrapping solution company, Yorkshire Packaging Systems (YPS), has scooped the award for the ‘Best In Commercial Packaging Solutions’ provider at this year’s Prestige Awards for the Leeds and West Yorkshire region.

The Dewsbury-based company attended a socially distanced winners’ event held at Hazlewood Castle Hotel in Tadcaster on the 14 October 2020, from which YPS directors Glyn Johnson, Rachel Johnson and Jonny Braithwaite collected a colourful trophy and certificate.

The Prestige Awards judging panel were present at the venue to congratulate YPS on their achievement and revealed it was the firm's high standards of customer service and commitment to sustainability goals that saw them clinch the allocate.

The panel were impressed by YPS’ experienced service engineers, next day deliveries and comprehensive service contracts, coupled with their range of innovative bio-based and post-consumer waste content shrink films.

The award adds to the firm’s recent successes, after it was recognised for its apprenticeship programme, customer service, female talent, record sales numbers and family business status.
