What we do.

Representing the processing and packaging machinery industry, Automate UK is committed to building awareness and supporting the promotion of automation technology. Comprising three leading trade associations (PPMA, BARA and UKIVA), we serve more than 580 full and affiliate member companies.

Who are we?

Believing in the power of partnership, we use various methods to drive industry progress and support the growth of our members, including:

  • Campaigning for positive change across a variety of key industry issues
  • Giving practical support and grants for the reduction of the skills shortage
  • Promoting career progression through PPMA BEST (Business Education Skills and Training)
  • Providing technical support and expertise
