Grant Coffin has over 30 years of experience in Manufacturing and Industrial Automation. He has been a steadfast advocate for the adoption of industrial automation technologies and operational best practices. During his 16-year tenure at Rockwell Automation, he has collaborated across industry sectors and with numerous organisations to develop robust, secure, automation, information, and safety systems strategies. By enhancing organisational and ecosystem visibility, his expertise has enabled customers to integrate new technologies with existing system architectures, transforming operational performance, supporting businesses in achieving their sustainability objectives and increasing profitability.
Pilz Automation Technology
‘Keeping machinery safe in a digital world’
Jason has been involved in the machinery safety industry for over 16 years, including participation in relevant standards committees. He has experience in projects across a wide variety of industries and applications and is well versed in the current issues manufacturing companies face and need to consider in order to comply with the latest safety legislation and standards. In recent years, Jason has developed a special interest in the impact of digitisation on manufacturing and, in particular, the resulting security risks and how they could affect the safety of plant and machinery.

‘Hygienic Design – Who gives?’
Greg's background is with OEMs and system integrators. He has been involved in tenders and applications ranging from simple standalone conveyors up to multi-million-pound lines of special purpose machinery. Whilst his last few years have been spent solely in the food industry, his experience is from a diverse range of industry sectors allowing him to understand the uniqueness of the food industry when it comes to building and maintaining factory line equipment. He is also the co-Chair of the new Robotics Working Group within EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering and Design), looking to create a package of best practice guidelines for the hygienic design and integration of robotics in the food industry.

‘Industrial Cybersecurity: Securing IT/OT Integration’
Ben heads product management for Siemens Digital Industries’ Connectivity and Cyber Security business in the UK. With a background in industrial automation, IoT and cyber security, Ben’s focus is to support the adoption of cyber security and networking best practices into industrial environments.
